Initially loved these books and thought it was really useful, but then found out that the word for dog is written with the wrong tones which has now made me question if any of the other words are right. It’s a great concept but I think it’s important to ensure that the words are accurate if we are teaching them to our children. FYI it’s ajá not ajà.
I think you can take it further by producing customize clothing and bug flyers that can be pasted on walls for toddlers to read through every morning.
I ordered the set of 3 books My First Words of Yoruba and I love them! And so does my daughter and my husband. We are so happy to find books in Yoruba language, hasn't been easy to find those in Finland. Hopefully there will be more books available when our daughter grows 😍

The book is amazing for young readers to learn about their mother tongue in their early years! It is simple to read, easy to remember, and fun to learn about their body parts, first words, and things at home! It does add significantly to increasing their knowledge of their native language.
