I’ve always had a soft spot for orphans. If life had turned out differently, adoption might have been part of my story. So from the very beginning, I made a promise: a part of everything we do goes back to children who need it most.
10% of all proceeds go to orphanages, through our parent organization, Ada Ari Books.

What we give
More than books
Every home we visit has its own needs, so we ask first and show up with what will actually make a difference.
We want every visit to be a day these children remember, because they deserve to be celebrated.
Where we give
As far as our impact can reach
Our goal is to spread our impact as far as possible. We’ve given to orphanages across the continent, from Nigeria to South Africa, and even as far as St. Lucia.
Why we give
A tithe, and a thank you
Ten percent is a tithe. Building this business has been a blessing, and it only feels right to give some of that blessing back.
And no one deserves it more than the children of the continent that inspired KOLI & OLUM in the first place.
As we grow, our giving grows with us: more orphanages, more children, and more than a check. We want to make a real difference in their lives.
