I bought this as a gift for a friend who is Congolese. My only gripe is that the delivery note was stuck to the actual box which was quite the mission to peel off. The book comes in a lovely green box, which is perfect for gifting.

Koli&olum is the first website I’ve been able to find that actually did books in Lingala so knew straight away I needed to order the set of 3 books, as not only will my little one be learning but so will I so they are perfect for us to learn together especially as the barcode on the back takes you to a video of the pronunciation which is above and beyond and so handy for when my husband is at work and not able to help us,
My little one loves banyama (animals) and his face lights up at each animal and we have even started incorporating mayi (water) to our day to day which he understands perfectly
